Jackson Marcelin,
the Founder of this Firm, ran for public office.
In 2005, Mr. Marcelin
made good on his promise to get more involved in
his community and bring about
positive change. He ran for Orange County
Commissioner, District 6.
He has a strong desire to see his community thrive and move forward.
Though he garnered a lot of support and votes, he did not win the election.
However, he won a lot of hearts. People appreciated his honesty and
devotion to create a better future for families in Central Florida.
We hope to see him run again, but as he always says, "we'll see
what God
has to say about that!"
Mr. Marcelin has
been engaged in many outreach programs and services.
He was one of the
leaders to bring together different local organizations to
support the countries
in the Caribbean that were by devasting hurricanes
the last few
years.
He is a mentor
and has been, for years, a guest speaker as several Orange
County
Public Schools. As a role model, he encourages and
motivates young adults to continue their education and achieve
their
dreams. His Firm enrolls an intern each summer for a two-months paid
internship.
He has served on
several non-profit organizations Board of Directors.
He is currently
serving on one of the committees for the 2010 Census.
